About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Business Controller to join our finance team at KÄÄPÄ Biotech, a pioneering biotechnology company in the field of functional mushroom extracts. In this key role, you will support strategic decision-making by providing timely, accurate, and actionable insights into our financial and operational performance.
This full-time role is based at our headquarters in Karjalohja, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model. You will report to the CFO and collaborate closely with our management team, helping to scale our operations and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and timely financial and operational reporting
- Monitor business performance vs. budget and support strategic planning
- Conduct profitability analyses and business case assessments
- Lead budget and forecast processes with dynamic modelling
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making across departments
- Prepare financial materials and insights for internal and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in business/financial controlling
- Prior exposure to manufacturing or production business environments
- Solid grasp of financial statements and cost structures (COGS, KPIs, BOMs)
- Strong command of Excel / Google Sheets and comfort working with data
- Fluent in Finnish and English
- Familiarity with Odoo and/or Procountor is a big plus
- Bonus: Interest in or experience with AI tools in financial processes
